Fire!". The device connects to your home's 120V AC power and provides battery backup in case of a power failure, with a lithium battery that lasts the full 10-year life of the alarm.

The Kidde smoke alarm offers up-to-date, real-time notifications through the Kidde app, allowing your family, friends, and even the pet sitter to monitor your home's air quality and receive alerts for smoke, high humidity levels that can lead to mold, or Total Volatile Organic Compounds (TVOCs). Setting up the device is straightforward – simply download the Kidde app and scan the QR code on the back of the alarm. You can also use voice commands to check the connection and status of carbon monoxide or air quality by pairing it with your Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and select iPhone and Android smart devices.

The LED ring-light indicator provides visual feedback on the unit's operational status: red for smoke or fire hazard, amber for operating error, and green for normal operation.
