Kidde Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detector

The Kidde Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Detector, model 900-CUDR, is an alarm combo that detects smoke, fire, and carbon monoxide gas using a single device. Powered by two AA batteries (included) to ensure protection during power failures, the alarm is equipped with self-testing components that continuously monitor the unit's operation. The photoelectric sensing technology detects visible fire particles associated with smoldering fires, while the electrochemical sensor identifies carbon monoxide.

When a smoke, fire, or carbon monoxide event occurs, the Kidde fire alarm emits an 85-decibel alarm sound and flashes red LEDs to alert you. Three LED indicators provide status updates: green for normal operation, amber for faulty operation or connection, and red for smoke, fire, or carbon monoxide detection. If the smoke alarm reaches the end of its lifespan, the detector will announce "Replace Alarm!"

The Smart-Hush button allows you to temporarily silence the unit for approximately 8 minutes, which can be helpful when the smoke detector carbon monoxide detector combo is triggered by routine cooking or shower steam.
